WHY THERE WILL NEVER BE PEACE IN ISRAEL

The U.N. is attempting to draw up a cease-fire in the Middle East. President Bush is trying to set up a Road Map for peace. There have been talks and negotiations, and yet there is no peace. There will never be a peace agreement. Why?

  1. You cannot negotiate with terrorists. They will not play by the rules.

  2. The Palestinians will never be satisfied as long as Israel exists. This is evident by the Palestinian National Covenant, the official document of the Palestinians and the basis of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). You can get a sense of the document by the words that are used and how many times each is mentioned. The following words appear in the document: "conflict" (1 time), "armed" (8), "revolutionary" (1), "revolution" (6), "vanguard" (2), "war" (1), "struggle" (7), "military" (2), "battle" (2), "fighters" (1), "bearers of arms" (1), and "army" (1). Each of these words describes the Palestinians' view of themselves as related to Israel. Article 21 states that  "The Palestinian Arab people, in expressing itself through the armed Palestinian revolution, rejects every solution that is a substitute for the complete liberation of Palestine, and rejects all plans that aim at the settlement of the Palestinian issue or its internationalization."

  3. There will never be peace in the Middle East until the Prince of Peace returns.
